If you are a Canadian or foreign-controlled production company, you could qualify for a 25% refundable tax credit based on your eligible production expenses.

To qualify, your business must:

  • Operate from a permanent establishment in Ontario
  • Own the production's copyright or have a contract with the owner of the copyright
  • Submit annual tax returns

Eligible expenses include:

  • Wages
  • Service contracts
  • Tangible property expenses
