If you are researching genomics or proteomics and are moving towards commercial applications, you could get up to $100,000 from the Ontario Genomics Institute. To qualify, your project must:

• Involve genomics, proteomics, or associated technologies
• Fall in the proof-of-principle (validation) phase of research
• Be novel and innovative
