If you own affordable rental property or plan to create units to rent to low-income tenants, you can apply for financing for repairs, renovations or construction.

You can apply through one of the various streams for multi-unit projects:

  • Rental (for apartments)
  • Rooming House
  • Secondary or Garden Suite (for units for seniors or persons with disabilities)
  • Conversions (for buildings)

You need to be approved before making the changes.

If you fulfill the terms of the agreement, you won't need to repay the money.
