You can use the Occupational/Skilled Worker component of the Nominee Program to hire an immigrant, if:

  • You cannot find local applicants with the required skills
  • The position is extremely difficult to fill
  • The skills have a critical impact on your business' operating ability

You can nominate an immigrant (to establish a new business in the province or to purchase all or part of your existing business) through the Immigrant Entrepreneur component of the program.
